To provide the students with the broad expertise necessary to assume responsibility for the effective and efficient planning, organising, implementation and control of the logistics activities that are required to provide products and services of the right quality to users within the supply chain at optimum cost.

Articulate and defend a purchasing decision in a given business context.
Work collaboratively in diverse teams to solve complex procurement problems
Research and make judgements about issues that influence sourcing decisions in given environments.
Critically analyse how purchasing decisions influence the supply chain management process in a range of complex situations.
