Muteesa I Royal University Donated Relief to Masaka Covid-19 Task Force

On 8th may 2020 the University team was led by the VC Prof. Vincent Kakembo and the DVC Assoc. Prof. Umar Kasule, and donated relief items comprising 1 ton of maize flour and one million Uganda shillings to the Masaka District COVID-19 Task force that is led by the Resident District Commissioner Mr. Herman Ssentongo,. The VC at the event said that he much appreciates the good working relations the University enjoys with the Masaka area leadership and said they were donating under a gesture of goodwill and as a response to the President’s call for help.

The RDC on his part thanked the University for heeding to the President’s call and said that the donation will go a long way in boosting their (District Task Force) efforts.
