This Publication is by two of our own: Assoc. Prof. Nakijoba Rosemary(PhD) the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities in conjunction with Ms Akullo Teopista(M.A) an Assistant Lecturer of Geography at MRU and Ms Biirah Judith(PhD) a Lecturer in Educational Psychology at Kyambogo University as well as Prof. Mugimu B. Christopher of The Department of Foundations and Curriculum Studies in the Faculty of Education of Makerere University.

The study sought to find out about the involvement of Parents in their children’s acquisition of knowledge in Uganda utilising UWEZO2021dataset Secondary data available.

Among the interesting findings was that acquisition of Numeracy skills for children between 4 and 16 years old increased with the availability of TV Set and Mobile Phones  in the Household.
