The University participated in the African Humanities Conference that took place at Dar es Salaam University from the 13 to 15th of September this year.

Dr. Sekiswa Peter from the Faculty of Education presented a Paper titled “Uganda-
Tanzanian Relations 1978-79: The Test of Nyerere’s Diplomatic Skill in Repaying the
Favor to Comrade Obote and Advancing Pan Africanism.”

Dr. Fred Musisi who also is our Academic Registrar  too presented a paper titled ““Enhancing Historical Thinking Skills: Exploring the Inquiry-Based Learning Pedagogical Approach in Uganda’s History Education.”

The duo who were part of the Ugandan team also learned that the first First Class Degree in this prestigious Tanzanian University was bestowed to Dr. Austin Bukenya  a Ugandan who went on to make a mark on the East African Literature scene.

The University continues to engage on peer platforms in the quest to generate New Knowledge as well as share with others what we so far have.
