Engineering Students Get New Nissan Double Cabin Pick Up from MotorCare Uganda

New Nissan Double Cabin Pick Up from MotorCare Uganda

The Engineering Department was today given a boost by Motorcare Uganda after being given a Nissan Double Cabin Pickup. Motorcare Uganda who are the official distributors of the vehicle brand in Uganda did so at a ceremony in Bulange Mengo which was witnessed by the Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga, the 2nd Deputy Katikkiro and also the Kingdom Education Minister Dr. Twaha Kawaase, the Deputy Education Minister Owek. Prosperous Nankindu, the and a Council Member Ms. Nakimuli Leaticia.
 
The University was represented by the Ag. Vice Chancellor Associate Professor Umar Ahmad Kasule Mukasa, the Dean Faculty of Education and also the Kakeeka Campus Director Dr. Fred Musisi, the Quality Assurance Manager Mr. Ben Ssembajwe, the former Dean of the Faculty of Science and IT Mr. Isaac Tomusange, the Dean of the Faculty of Science Information Technology Dr. Almas Ssendegeya, the head of the Engineering Department Engineer Ndawula Fred, the former head of Engineering Mr. Bumaali Mukasa, Mr. Ssebalamu and Engineering students who came in from Masaka where they are currently based.
 
Prof. Umar Kasule while speaking on behalf of the University pledged to abide by all the laid down procedures agreed upon and also thanked the Katikkiro for making friends  while the Managing Director of Motor Care Uganda Florence Ssempebwa Makada said that they scrutinised a number of Universities before zeroing down on the kingdom University.
 
The Deputy Katikkiro Dr. Twaha Kawaase on his part thanked Motorcare for partnering with the kingdom University and that this move was going to help the students feel the University more in their endeavours.
 
The Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga said the kingdom University was much privileged to be considered and that the University is much commited to producing products to serve society. He also said he is considering changing to Nissan vehicles after this gesture.
